Coilover 4 Link Rear Suspension Restomotive for Ford Mustang 1964-1968

The proprietary rear axle suspension eliminates the flaws of the original leaf spring-based system. It utilizes adjustable trailing arms and diagonal arms, along with Ohlins STX S46DR1 shock absorbers with adjustable rebound and compression. The assembly is mounted to the body via a four-point connection through a dedicated subframe, which also serves as the mounting point for the diagonal arms. The suspension features threaded shock absorbers with multi-stage damping adjustment, as well as trailing arms and diagonal arms, allowing for ride height and suspension geometry adjustments. The lower shock mounts offer multiple height options via mounting holes. The entire setup relies on reinforced uniball connections.

Notes

Using this suspension system requires modifications to the axle mounts and subframe mounting points on the body. The kit completely eliminates the possibility of reinstalling original suspension components. After installation, suspension geometry must be realigned.
